What Did Gov. Strickland Know, and When Did He Know It (re: Eric McFadden)? [UPDATED]
Carol McKinley has an update on the McFadden story, detailing her communications to members of the Strickland Administration here in Ohio and to Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good regarding McFadden's troubling internet conduct. See also here.
And based on Carol's commentary regarding McFadden's use of the pseudonym "Eamon", I am now confirmed in my suspicions that McFadden commented at this blog on a number of occasions back in early 2007. Here are a few examples:

Enlightening. Or not.
UPDATE
I'm also fairly certain that McFadden/"Eamon" was one of the anonymous commenters in this thread. I believe that was the post (criticizing Prof. Richard Gaillardetz and Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good) that first brought my blog to McFadden's attention.
UPDATE #2 (21 January)
Dave Hartline has even more information on this topic in his January 21, 2009 News Headlines at The Catholic Report, including a link to McFadden's/Eamon's blog, Irish Catholic Buckeye.
UPDATE #3 (21 January)
More gorey details from Carol McKinley in her post "Holding lay people accountable for what they knew and when they knew it".

Jay,
I appreciate your posts on this.
That McFadden all right. Love the four posts in five minutes and subsequent commenter who asked if he had forgotten to take his Lithium.
Count yourself lucky you weren't a target of his gross vulgarity, rage, inappropriate sexual remarks and compulsive postings to intimidate.
He must have been compulsively posting about the prostitutes on the days he was focusing on you!
When I was working as a hands off escort, in 2006, I was attacked and held hostage in my hotel room by McFadden because I would not have sex with him. He was taken in for questioning. Arrested. They dropped the charges, even though I had the entire thing voice recorded for safety(As in all sessions)Dropped because of who is was, and what my profession was. The record is a public record, so how did they not know?
