Independence Day
I'm taking a family day today in honor of our Nation's birthday, so no posting. In fact, that will likely be the case for the entire holiday weekend.
So, until Monday, go celebrate your country and the freedoms you enjoy. While you're at it, take a moment (or more) to pray for the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces who make it all possible.
Fly your flag. Watch a parade. Thank a veteran. Enjoy the fireworks. Love your country. Ignore the naysayers.
In addition, listen to some great early American music, and view some vintage patriotic images at Recta Ratio.
God Bless America!

Hope you had a good 4th, Jay!
Had a great one, Kyle. Thanks.
My younger son and I marched in Norwalk's 4th of July parade with the Knights of Columbus and Norwalk Catholic School - a joint venture between the Knights and the school, the adults carried a HUGE American flag while the kids handed out pencils, candy, and small American flags.
Good to hear. I recently joined the Knights of Columbus.
