Memo: To all parties interested in supporting Obama, and all corrupt people who will attempt to undermine him at any cost.

Since it is inevitable that Obama will become the Democratic nominee, Republicans are ALREADY attempting to run a swiftboat campaign against him. As you probably know, as an Illinois state senator in 2002, Obama voted AGAINST giving assistance to fetuses who survive abortions. An identical bill passed in the US Senate that same year by a voice vote of 98-0. Republicans will portray Obama's vote in the Illinois Senate as a vote for Infanticide, and it could be an issue that cripples his campaign down the road.

As Black americans, we must protect the first legitimate black candidate from such attacks. Although I am not sure if the attack will be effective, I can guarantee that this will be an issue Republicans and Pro-Life 527s will use to undermine his support. If it is effective, it will likely be because pro-life Catholics and Hispanics who otherwise might be attracted to Obama will abandon him for McCain. Obama may be able to counter this by highlighting his consistent support for drivers licenses for illegal aliens.

In any case, I bring this potential attack up because I am an administrative intern at Feminists for Life and this is an issue I've heard some of our Directors discuss in conference calls with Pro-Life Congress Members like Chris Smith and Paul Ryan. Pro Life groups strongly believe Obama's "vote for infanticide" should be an issue in the upcoming campaign with John McCain.

The point of this email is that we must be prepared to counter this attack because as you can see, the corrupt people in power will not go away easily. I've already found a bumper sticker that potentially could be an issue.

    Just a preview.

Here are some articles explaining his vote to deny assistance to fetuses who survived abortions.

On abortion, Obama could not be any more radical in his views. The reason goes even beyond Obamas desire for public funding for abortion, which forces all taxpayers, pro-life and pro-choice, to support abortion without a choice of their own. Simply put, Obama will not protect infants who are born alive either from live birth abortions or botched abortions. Congress and President Bush overwhelmingly passed the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act in 2002, but in Illinois, Obama blocked similar legislation. He claimed in a Senatorial debate that he would have voted for the national version, but not the Illinois version, because it encroached on Roe v. Wade. However, the sponsor of the bill, Illinois Senator Richard Winkel (R), offered to amend the bill, making it identical to the federal version. Even with this amendment, Obama, chair of the Health and Human Services Committee at the time, refused to put the bill up for a vote. He instead let the bill die in committee, putting politics over the life of not the unborn, but the born. Not even Santorum could match that on the opposite end of the spectrum.
Obamas stance on abortion offers a preview of how liberal he really is.

Yet, some Evangelicals are flocking to Obama as if he the words he speaks are on par with Holy Writ. But before he is anointed as savior of America it might be a good idea to peal back some of the layers of his movement so we can take a peek at his record. Obama has been endorsed by the left wing of the left wing of the Democrat Party. He enjoys the support of NARAL and Emilys List. Both of these extreme organizations not only support but also actually prefer abortions. Of course, that makes sense when you consider the fact that while Obama was in the Illinois Senate he supported a bill that would have allowed babies to be left to die who were accidentally born alive after a botched abortion attempt.

While in the Illinois legislature, Obama opposed a Born-Alive Infants Bill. What this means is that when he, as a state legislator, was presented with the reality that babies who had survived abortions were being left to die, he would not raise his hand to provide those children legal protection. His reason: He didnt want to cede ground to crazy pro-lifers. He warned: Whenever we define a pre-viable fetus as a person that is protected by the Equal Protection Clause or the other elements in the Constitution, what were really saying is, in fact, that they are persons that are entitled to the kinds of protections that would be provided to a ... a child - a nine-month-old child that was delivered to term. That determination then, essentially, if it was accepted by a court, would forbid abortions to take place.

I found these by doing a basic search in google news.

BE AFRAID FOLKS... AS OBAMA SUPPORTERS, WE MUST BE ON GUARD WITH THESE EVIL REPUBLICANS!

Forward this to all interested parties!
