"Life's Short, Get a Divorce" Attorney Bares All for Playboy

Last year, I was critical of a divorce lawyer's racy billboard ad that admonished "Life's Short, Get a Divorce".

Not content with promoting infidelity and divorce via billboard, the attorney who ran the ad has now decided to bare all for Playboy [NOTE: Not to worry; this is NOT a link to the Playboy website], and will be writing a column for the magazine titled "Lawyer of Love".

Let me get this straight. A divorce attorney writing a column called "Lawyer of Love"? Something doesn't compute.

She practices in Illinois. Before she was admitted to the bar she had to be certified to be of good moral character per Supreme Court Rule 701(a):

"Subject to the requirements contained in these rules, persons may be admitted or conditionally admitted to practice law in this State by the Supreme Court if they are at least 21 years of age, of good moral character..."

The tasteless ad encouraging divorce, which I think comes close to barratry, and the Playboy spread would certainly be enough to cause her to lose her license in morally saner times.
