Halting Heresy Along the Highway

This one's just waiting for Jeff Miller to give it The Curt Jester treatment.

Driving home from the hospital after Gracie was born the other day, I passed a billboard sign along the highway that read "FIGHT MANNEQUINISM.ORG".

I kid you not when I tell you that, at first, I misread the sign as saying

"FIGHT MANICHAEANISM.ORG".

"Man," I thought to myself, "these folks up here sure are serious about combatting heresy!"

Ahh, yet another weak attempt to get young impressionable people over to the liberal side of the political spectrum. This ranks up their with “vote or die” and the “debunkafy tobacco myths” tour. I wonder why is it though when I attempt to go to the website I get a lynx test page, their move on money might have dried up?

'Tis a shame that heresy is fashionable nowadays. What answers would you get if you asked folks about:

Arianism - "Those are the 'White Power' dudes, right?"

Pelagianism - "Isn't that a disease?"

Montanism - "Rock climbing addiction"

Donatism - "Giving stuff to charity."

Antinomianism - "Umm, they want to be anonymous?"
