Announcing a New Major Award ...
Nope, not that "major award".
This one:
Introducing the "Rosie", which will be awarded at the end of each week for "Outstanding Achievement in Anti-Catholic* Commentary".
I suppose last week's award would have to be a toss-up between the award's namesake and the cartoonist who drew this. And I would like to retroactively award the first ever Rosie Award for the entire month of March to this Washington Post/Newsweek columnist who claimed that anti-Catholic bigotry is a myth, and then in the next paragraph launched into an anti-Catholic diatribe. For all you do, this Rosie's for you.
I'll be taking nominations for this week's award through Friday, so send in your favorite(s).
* Particularly egregious attacks aimed not necessarily at Catholicism in particular, but focusing on Christianity in general are eligible to win.
Labels: Anti-Catholicism, Humor

Well there will be stiff opposition with Rosie herself.
Do you need to rename the award since Rosie is now leaving the view?
