Happy St. Joseph's Day
Rich Leonardi links to one of his past Catholic Exchange pieces on "St. Joseph's Day and the 'Grittiness' of Catholicism".
G. Thomas Fitzpatrick also has a nice post on St. Joseph at Recta Ratio.

Thanks for the plug, Jay. We'll be frying up some sfinge tonight in celebration. During my trip trip home to Rochester last week, my cousin Louie told me he's hosting his St. Joseph's Day 'Table' at a parish that serves the poor this year. It's a great way to honor both the Saint and the Catholic tradition of Lenten almsgiving.
