Same-sex-issues-obsessed group calling itself GOP Proud wants to use the federal government to push its social agenda while telling the Republican leadership to avoid social issues.
Not surprisingly, some of the more libertarian (libertine) elements of the Tea Party movement have joined them.

Naturally. Libertarians and leftists want the government to stay out of all social issues - unless of course the government intervenes in a manner which favors their position. Perfectly consistent thinking there. /sarc
