New Prior Provincial for the Dominican Province of Saint Joseph

The Very Rev. Brian Martin Mulcahy, O.P. - a fellow alumnus of the University of Virginia, a friend, and the priest who brought Sarah and me into the Catholic Church exactly 6 years ago today - is the new Prior Provincial of the Dominican Province of Saint Joseph.

A big Pro Ecclesia congratulations to Father Mulcahy. My best wishes and prayers for God's blessings on his new endeavors.

Exactly 6 years ago today - 13 June 2004,
Father Brian Mulcahy, O.P., conferred the sacraments of
Baptism, Confirmation, and First Holy Communion to Sarah,
and the sacraments of Confirmation and First Holy Communion to me,
at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish in Charlottesville, VA.
