Gerard Bradley, professor of law at the University of Notre Dame, writes at National Review Online: "Since most Catholic colleges won’t do their job, bring the faith to secular schools."

This is one of the best pieces I've read on this important issue. When my alma mater ND went to bed with Obama, we decided we were not going to waste our daughter's college fund paying tuition there. (We already did that once, at Georgetown.) The challenge is to find a secular school with a serious Catholic intellectual presence. I wish someone I trusted were rating Newman Centers.
