RINOvich Disses Southerners
The Columbus Dispatch interviews Sen. George Voinovich:
... The GOP’s biggest problem? “We got too many Jim DeMints (R-S.C.) and Tom Coburns (R-Ok.). It’s the southerners. They get on TV and go 'errrr, errrrr.' People hear them and say, ‘These people, they’re southerners. The party’s being taken over by southerners. What they hell they got to do with Ohio?’ ” ...Did it ever occur to you that you might have some transplanted Southerners among your constituents (like me, for example)? I mean, Ohio borders West Virginia and Kentucky, both states that, in some respects, identify with the South.
No, the GOP's biggest problem is not a particular region of the country (containing all us unedumacated rednecks), you bigoted @$$hole. The GOP's biggest problem is cry-baby squishes like you that don't stand for jack s**t.

I take it Ironton or Portsmouth weren't campaign stops.
It does make you wonder if Voinovich has ever ventured south of Columbus. My recent trip down Hwy 23 to Portsmouth revealed quite a number of people whose accents Voinovich might dismiss as "Errrr. Errrr."
What a POS.
Aside from the fact that his fiscal policies as Ohio's governor drove the Buckeye state into the ground, he's a vindictive b@stard. Trust me; I have firsthand experience.
A lot of politicians are jerks, but Voinovich has always worked overtime to establish his uber jerk creds. He will not be missed.
