Well I see Tony Blair becoming Catholic didn't actually change the man.
So instead of being a secular-styled Protestant he's becoming a secular-styled Catholic of the Kennedy/Biden/Pelosi variety.
Actually, it makes him something of a conservative, compared to the English episcopate. He said something nice about the Pope, after all.
This is why the Bible warns against converts being bishops. Hint and a half, Tony.
Honest, I did not read Mark Shea before posting that comment.
As they say, great minds think alike, and so do ours.
These types of comments by Blair only confuse weak minded Catholics.
I do not think they confuse weak minded catholics, but do give aid on comfort to those lost in sin tring hard to normalize their weakness or left leaning obamacaths who desire to justify their parties radical positions. Of course that includes many bishops in the USCCB and their committee staffs that draft useless documents as they did before the last election.
Nothing sorrier than a bunch of deluded pseudo-southern baptists trying to hijack the Catholic Church.
Tolerance is a christian virtue, right-wingers, deal with it.
LOL. I'm the one that agrees with the Pope. Seems the newly converted interloper Tony Blair is the one trying to "hijack the Catholic Church" for his own political agenda..
