Comment Moderation Temporarily Enabled

I apologize for the use of comment moderation - and for my tardiness in approving comments. The kids are on spring break this week, and we are visiting relatives. So, my computer access has been somewhat limited. A number of nasty comments that were posted over Easter weekend, while I was away from the computer for an extended period of time, prompted me to (at least temporarily) turn on comment moderation.

I have been plagued by one (possibly two) extremely vile trolls for months now. Not posting their comments has not slowed them down one tiny bit. I may never be off comment moderation.

Can you block their IP addresses?

Does Blogger have that capability?

A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do.

And no, I don't think Blogger will enable you to block IP addresses.

So that means you all should move your blogs to the political bear network :)

Sorry, I had to give Charlie (my website's administrator) a bit of a plug.

But that is a capability available on most platforms. It's a little ridiculous that blogger doesn't offer that ability to block IPs. I do think you can with Halo scan. (Then again, Halo Scan offers up its own headaches.)

Haloscan definitely lets you block
IPs, and you can integrate it directly into your Blogger system, if you use the new template.
