One of my favorite things about the band (apart from the music, natch) is the fact that the *least* hirsute of the members is named Frank Beard.

I studied in Scotland for a semester in 1989, and one of my buddies at the school was from Northern Ireland. Turned out he was an absolute ZZ Top fanatic. Knew the catalog front and back.

Too bad some kids know this "as the song from that Ben Affleck asteroid movie". Billy Bob Thornton was a huge fan.

Been a subscriber of yours Jay for a while. Was wondering why you would highlight a song about a bordello until it dawned on it me. Recent A-Rod news.

If this turns out to be my last post here, I suppose it will be somewhat ironic that it is a post about a song about a bordello.
