Prof. Beckwith: Why “Reducing the Number of Abortions” is Not Necessarily Prolife

Prof. Francis Beckwith explains why “reducing the number of abortions” is not necessarily "prolife".

I've made this same argument in the past here (citing Prof. Beckwith) and here.

Prof. Beckwith pointed out the subtle effect i.e. “while the culture drifts further away from the prolife perspective and the law becomes increasingly unjust”

It is taking the wind out our sails or making us mindlessly get with his pro-abortion program and drop our guard.

The lie is so subtle and the compromise requested appears so minute, but the goal is to desensitize the nation to the ignomy of murdering a fetus.

It is reminiscent of that incident at Eden. Indeed, the evil one is the father of all lies. And as you can see, we are well in the spiritual battle where truth is the first casualty.

Thank you for posting. Please continue with your efforts, because the mighty Goliath - PP or the evil one will fall with the pebbles of truth as God is on our side.

Here's a great pro life video that aired on EWTN last night from Priests For Life entitled: "Raise Your Hand"
