So-Called "Catholic Natural" Falls Flat at Al Smith Charity Dinner; McCain Scores

Cardinal Egan to Sen. McCain:
"Are you sure you want to do that? He has blood on his hands."

Gee, I wonder why the most pro-abort presidential candidate in history might not be on his game while talking to a room full of Catholics, including the Cardinal Archbishop of New York?

Details to follow later.

UPDATE:
Here's a clip of the 1st portion of Sen. McCain's remarks:

The whole thing is funny, but that last line before the video clip ends is OUTSTANDING!

I have to agree. McCain did a stellar job. It didn't hurt that he got to take all the cracks at himself first!
It seemed to me that Obama mostly talked about himself, and was not really comfortable. Poor guy. Tough crowd. Kind of dumb of him to whine about FOX, the ONLY media not polishing his shoes. McCains cracks at the media were at least funny. Loved his Clinton lines.

I usually cringe while listening to these two guys. The sorting out of fact and fiction gives me a headache. Can't wait 'till its over.

I saw only a few minutes, but caught the bit about Clinton not being able to campaign until after the Zoroastrian New Year.

Then I saw something I've never, ever seen before. I saw Hillary give a genuine, authentic laugh.

Not the fake, plastic cackle that we've all come to instantly recognize as fake and plastic, but a real, that's-funny, laugh.

Amazing.

That McCain could slam Obama, the MSM, and the Clintons, whereby they were forced to laugh at themselves, was truly brilliant. And McCain's slam on abortion, while many sat in stony silence, was truly appropriate.

A Catholic Charities event surely illuminates the men from the boys--and McCain and the Cardinal stood alone.
