Welcome to the nervously for McCain caucus. Just don't scr*w us on judges.

Why vote for someone who is going to scr*w you? Not that a pro-choicer is any better, but seriously, both sides can agree that we should reduce unplanned pregnancies, through abstinence. And the president really doesn't have that much power over issues like that anyways...But I will not vote for either of them, I don't think that I could morally vote for a baby killer, or a war-mongerer. ;)

Yeah, I'm sure the guy who spent five years as a prisoner of war is definitely the kind of guy who just wants to start wars all over the place.

Yeah, here's hoping (if he wins) that he chooses the right judges.

No they can't. The first thing the left did when faced with Sarah Palin was point at her daughter and jump up and down screaming that abstinence doesn't work.

The choice of Sarah Palin has caused the left to throw aside the last shred of pretense that abortion might be a bad thing and run screaming through the marketplace of ideas shouting that they must keep killing at all costs. They've come totally unhinged.

We call it a culture "war" because people really are being killed by the millions, and, yes, tortured in it. And McCain is the best remaining choice to advance our goals.

Of course we'll be watching, Jay. We watched Bush, who has been the most pro-life president ever (but who still tried to appoint Harriett Meiers), and we'll watch McCain.

But look who surrounds McCain. Brownback, Palin, and a number of other good pro-life voices who will ensure that he hears the pro-life side. That's much more that we'll get with the other guy.

Who is gonna surround the candidate and shape policies is a compelling argument that Obama can't win.

I understand, Jay. I hope the Palin pick represents a genuine desire on McCain’s part to defend the unborn, but I can’t help thinking that she’s being used as a ploy, as a means of appeasing the fears of pro-lifers, but without any intent on McCain’s part to see the pro-life cause through. I’m a cynic, I hope I’m wrong, but I personally cannot commit to this ticket.
