The New Republic on "Why the Conservative Establishment Was in Love With Sarah Palin Even Before She Was Picked"
The New Republic notes that Gov. Palin wasn't an "unknown" to those who have been paying attention ... and many on the right have been paying attention to Gov. Palin for a while.
I endorsed Gov. Palin as an excellent pick for Sen. McCain in July. I also endorsed Sen. Brownback as a possibility. They were the only running mate choices (other than Gov. Bobby Jindal, who I believe needs more time in Louisiana) that could have caused me to vote for Sen. McCain.
