Hey, Elitists! Y'all Got Y'all's Asses Kicked Tonight!

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!

I can feel your fear, and it's palpable. You are beginning to realize the election is slipping away.

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!

UPDATE
By the way, I LOVE Sarah Palin!

UPDATE #2

Don't be so subtle, Jay, how do you really feel?

It couldn't have gone better! About 3/4 of the way through, I told Mrs. Brissett, "Obama is wishing he had on the Depends right about now." She and my 13-year old daughter made me rewind the tape to see the little daughter smoothing down the baby's hair. We laughed, we cried, we cheered--a star and hero is born.

I don't know. I found her criticisms of Obama wanting. I thought Palin could have hit Obama on those issues where he is really horrid, and she'd have been a good person to make those arguments, but instead she rehashed talking points about Obama's willingness to talk to enemies and read them their rights.

Whatever. All I know is she kicked ass.

My daughter commented, "She's gutting Obama like a freshly-killed moose!"

And Piper is a little character. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

And the best the Dems can do is Harry Reid's statement that Gov. Palin was "shrill".

Well, now, THAT'S going to go over REAL well with the women of America. Even Campbell Brown and the other women in the CNN booth were offended by Reid's choice of words.

What a complete asshat.

I feel invigorated by someone who is living the conservative American lifestyle actually having a shot at the White House. Sarah Barracuda really went for the jugular tonight. I can't wait for the October 2 VP debate. Now I don't have to hold my nose (as much) while pulling the lever for Juan McCain.

I could see all the lefty media pundit asshats (especially Keith Olbermann) puckering up. Better update their resumes.

Regardless of her stand on immigration and combatting islamism, Palin will make for a stronger America. Hopefully, her policies on these two important issues are in the correct corner, and she can convince McCain to back off on the amnesty.

That was an amazing speech. My husband was teaching and couldn't watch it but I told him that "Sarah Palin just won the election for them."

Try to picture Hillary watching that........LOL

She certainly did, Jay! PTL!

I think it was Rudy who described her as a barracuda with lipstick and high heels.

She had so many great one liners and delivered them so well!

Check out my post here http://catholicfire.blogspot.com/2008/09/sarah-palin-delivers-brilliant-historic.html for my reactions to her speech.

Palin is a political phenom of the first magnitude. The Democrats maybe now have some small inkling of what they are in for. Last night saw the curtain rise on the first female Vice-President and President of this country.

Once again we have a situation in the GOP where I wish the ticket was flipped. Amazing speech, and even the pundits had to praise her.

Jay,

Palin’s speech was the only convention speech of either party that I watched or had any interest in watching. Why? Because Palin is one of the few politicians I know of that I think I may be able to trust. I’m with Crankycon in that I wish she were on the top of the ticket. Some of her presentation last evening revealed who she was, and did so effectively, but some of it, particularly her reliance on standard Republican attacks, buzzwords and talking points, clouded her story. Or so I thought. Hey, maybe I’m wrong. And maybe my giving criticism places me in a small minority next to Obama operatives. But that’s the impression I got.

I no longer have to drink to vote for McCain.

I love Sarah Palin too.

Kyle,

I apologize for my initial reaction in which I compared your criticism of Palin's speech to the criticism that was coming from the Obama camp. I deleted that comment immediately after posting it, realizing that it wasn't a fair representation of your position, but apparently you saw it before it disappeared.

Again, I'm sorry.

Wait wait wait--I think we should weigh Sen. Reid's criticisms very carefully.

If anybody knows shrill, it's Harry Reid.
