"Post-Racial" Political Correctness

(Hat tip: The Opinionated Catholic)

Rod Dreher has links to a couple of interesting pieces on race. The first one is a Wall Street Journal piece by Dorothy Rabinowitz: "American Politics Aren't 'Post-Racial' ".

The second story is one I also heard about on the radio this morning, derided by a couple of local DJs for its run-amok political correctness: "Toddlers who dislike spicy food 'racist' ".

That's par for the course for John Wiley Price. He's the biggest racist in Dallas County, and the fact that he continues to be re-elected to office speaks extremely ill of his constituency.

The comments on the "racist toddler" article are worth the irritation the article itself arouses.
