More "Bush Converting to Catholicism" Speculation
The Telegraph (U.K.) engages in more speculation - as the President meets again today with the Holy Father - that Bush may convert to Catholicism: "George W Bush meets Pope amid claims he might convert to Catholicism".
I'd love to see it, but I'm skeptical.

I'm with you; I believe that the President's evident affection for the Holy Father is based on three things: shared values, mutual respect, and political expediency, and not on any supposed affinity for Catholic spirituality.
I'd love to see it, but I don't expect to; President Bush seems quite content as a Methodist.
Did the President and the Holy Father just do a fist bump?
IF he converts I think it's probably due to his brother and meeting the Holy Father was langiappe.
What fuels this speculation is the president seems to be much closer to Catholic faith than most politicians who claim to be Catholic.
