In an upcoming book entitled, Politics in the Parish: The Political Influence of Catholic Priests, Gregory Smith argues that the political views of a parish priest influence those of the parishioners.

My Comments:
Like Brian, my initial reaction to the headline was that parishioners were choosing to attend parishes where what they hear from the pulpit merely matches their own biases. But, apparently, there's more to it than that.
