Golic. That was easy.

Maybe we should ask Heather. Choice # 3 was Sarah's idea: that's how she described me.

That was easy, I didn't know who either of them were until today! I enjoy sports when I take the time to watch it, and going to the game is even better. But I could care less about listening to sports fans argue about it over and over again.

I’d like to think of myself as a do-er, ergo a Golic, rather than an onlooker ergo Greenie. Greenie might be a nice guy, but Golic has been there done that, so he has more stock with me.

I don't think there's any question that most men (at least those who know better) would rather see ourselves as a Golic than Green. The question is whether our delusions of Golicdom match the reality of Greendom.

According to Mrs. Anderson, mine do not.

Jay:

Good idea. I'll have to provide an insane amount of context, though. She doesn't understand my love of sports talk radio--but she allows for a partial exception for Jim Rome.

PB:

You're missing out. Seriously. There's a lot of BSing and star-struck irrational fandom, but sports is the last civil, productive conversation topic going. It cuts across all the other fault lines of our society, too. None of that "you hurt my feelings" crappola--more often than not, people still try to persuade with objective fact on these shows.

I definitely don't have a clue...but judging from the context of the other comments and a quick Google search, I guess I'd say Brian is #3 also...with traces of full-blooded Golic. But really, does this count toward our final grade?

Belated happy new baby, by the way!
