40 Days for Life - 2nd Half

This morning, I received the following in an email from the 40 Days for Life - Toledo campaign:

Day 21...we're now in the 2nd half...and it's time to RE-COMMIT! Let's go back to the basics of what this 40 Days for Life campaign is all about: PRAYER!! This is a time to press forward--let's run towards the prize! We're fighting this fight not for ourselves but for Christ! The graces are flowing because this is GOD's work--'whatsoever you do to the least of these, you do to Me.' When we pray for the end to the killing of the innocent pre-born babies, for the conversion of the hearts of all those involved with abortion and those who believe abortion is ok, we're giving our love and lives for Him--the One who in turn is giving back to us so much more! 'God can never be outdone in generosity'--can't you just feel this happening as you give of yourselves?!? Check out the 'Stories and Blessings' page on www.40daysforlife.com/toledo/ and read what your brothers and sisters in Christ have experienced in these first 20 days!

Let's continue to ask others to join this opportunity to be His hands and feet! Why keep these blessings and graces for ourselves?!? Let's share them! It's not the time for us to rest and go on auto-pilot. If anyone wants to still gather some groups to pray--please do! Please contact me to sign up for hours! Can we do a 24 hour vigil the last night? From 6am on Saturday 11/3 until 3pm on Sunday 11/4? Let me know if you're willing to make this happen! Invite your priests and pastors to join us! Can someone contact religious sisters? Let me know! I'd love to see the next few weeks with a 'Clergy Day', 'Medical Careers Day' (on an abortion day--this would be AWESOME!)...how about the Scouts? Bring them on down! How about Confirmation classes? This is both a Corporal Work of Mercy as well as Spiritual Work of Mercy! CRHP teams? Bible Study groups? Get your creative juices going! Invite any group you can think of! If you've been asking and your friends still haven't made it to the Center for Choice to pray, invite them to come with you!

Keep checking the 'Hours Still Open' page--it's been a lifesaver in filling the hours! Some people are definitely listening to the Holy Spirit and filling in exactly when I need them! Email or call me when you see that you can fill an open spot. If you can take 2 hours straight--all the better! Personally, I like those so much more because the time flies by so quickly.

Thanks be to God for all that He has done thus far! I can't wait to see what's in store for the last half! May Our Lady continue to coordinate this as only a mother can!
