Presidents and Abortion
Daniel Allott writes at The Washington Times:
What are pro-lifers looking for in a presidential candidate? Fed up after more than three decades of court-imposed abortion-on-demand, and now tantalizingly close to realizing the 5-4 Supreme Court majority needed to overturn Roe v. In fact, the president can do many things, both concretely and symbolically, to affect federal abortion policy other than appointing judges. Here is a partial list...

All I know is that the pro-life issue and the promise of nominating strict constructionist / originalist judges are about the only reasons that I bother to even consider the GOP.

There's a long list of things that presidents can do on abortion, many of which President Bush has done.
But no president, in my opinion, has done all that he might have to end abortion.
I'll be voting for someone who, if elected, will do all that can be done to end abortion.
