NARAL Says All Republican Candidates OTHER THAN RUDY Are Pro-Life

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- One of the top pro-abortion groups in the country told its membership last week that several of the main Republican presidential contenders couldn't get its support because they're pro-life on abortion. Of the leading names, only pro-abortion ex-New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani was not included for criticism.(emphasis added)
The pro-abortion group NARAL told its members that it also expects one more candidate to enter the race who is "bent on taking away a woman's right to choose: Fred Thompson."

My Comments:
Doesn't appear that NARAL is too worried about Rudy's promise to appoint "strict constructionists" to the federal courts. They apparently give as little credence to this obviously bogus campaign promise as I do.

Considering that they opposed the nomination of John Roberts, who had virtually nothing in the way of pro-life credentials and who could only possibly shift the court their way since he was replacing Rehnquist, this tolerance for Rudy speaks volumes.
