Another Shocker: Sr. Joan Chittister Unhappy With Motu Proprio
Anita Moore at V for Victory and Fr. Z at What Does the Prayer Really Say? and Jeff Miller at The Curt Jester all do outstanding jobs of dissecting Sr. Joan's latest anti-Rome screed.
If Sr. Joan is upset by the Motu Proprio, she probably crapped a brick when she got wind of this.
UPDATE (15 July 2007)
Tony at Catholic Pillow Fight also does an excellent job of putting Sr. Joan in her place. Sorry I originally missed that one, Tony.

At first, I thought that the poster said, "WANTED -- for impersonating a woman." The lesbian quasi-nuns do tend to look like men.
Can we lay off how people look?
Even if there were a problem with the Sister's appearance, it would be the least of her problems.
I agree. I posted the illustration for the content, not to belittle Sr.'s appearance.
It's also somewhat over the top to imply that Sr. Joan is a lesbian.
It is truly an unpleasant experience to read most of what Sr. Joan Chittister writes. I consider it a travesty that there seems to be no fraternal correction to her erroneous interpretations of Catholic teaching. That said, the truly Catholic response is to correct her ignorance and then lift her up in prayer. Both she and her bishop need the guidance of the Holy Spirit so that more souls will not be led astray by her faulty teaching. The same could be said for Fr. McBrien of Notre Dame and a host of other dissident Catholics. Perhaps praying for them by name will surprise us.
Oops! Comment above was supposed to link to this post. Sorry!
'crapped a brick'
I should probably feel bad about it, but I like your turn of phrase!
Jay:
Good catch--the lesbian thing was over the line, too.
Vacation brain is still slowing me down, alas.
I'm crushed, Jay. You didn't mention me. :)
