Edwards Takes Stand in Favor of Anti-Catholicism
John Edwards is standing by his anti-Catholic bloggers.
Gee, I wonder if he'll get the same treatment from the media as George W. Bush did when he spoke at Bob Jones University in 2000. Somehow, I Doubt it. Emphasis on the "D".
On the basis of this decision, NO Catholic voter should take John Edwards seriously as a presidential candidate. Says Maclin Horton, commenting at Amy Welborn's blog:
Well, one bright spot in this is that I'm relieved from any faint lingering sense of obligation to evaluate Edwards as a candidate. I don't care if he's got an idea for the Greatest Health Care Plan Ever--this puts him out there in the same wilderness as David Duke as far as I'm concerned.
