Could You Imagine a Prominent Republican Senator Saying This About Gen. Colin Powell?

Good grief! Here's Sen. Joe Biden (one of those "social justice" Catholic Democrats) on his colleague, Sen. Barrack Obama:
Mr. Biden is equally skeptical—albeit in a slightly more backhanded way—about Mr. Obama. “I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy,” he said. “I mean, that’s a storybook, man.”
Good going, Holy Joe.

I don't even think former segregationist Sen. Strom Thurmond in his dotage would have been so out of his mind as to have expressed such a sentiment.

Next up: Sen. Robert "KKK" Byrd refers to Obama as "a good boy".

If he were a Republican, I'd say he has at most a week before he's out of the Senate. Since he's a Democrat, he'll be there till he retires (his ludicrous presidential ambitions notwithstanding).

I wonder how George "Macaca" Allen feels about this?
