Baby's First Photos: Our First Glimpse of Little Grace Assumpta
Today we found out that the little life growing inside Sarah's belly is another baby girl. Good thing, because we already had a girl's name picked out, but were struggling in coming up with a mutually acceptable name for a boy*.
Introducing Grace Assumpta Anderson:
After "Mary Virginia" and now "Grace Assumpta", you're probably noticing a theme with respect to the names we've chosen for our girls.
* I liked boy's names expressive of our Scottish, Irish, and Anglo-Saxon heritage like "Charles Edward Stuart Anderson" or "Finnan Colmcille Anderson" or "Edmund Bede Anderson" or (here's a good one) "Hrothgar Beowulf Anderson". For whatever reason, Sarah vetoed all of these.
And I don't care what anyone says. The esoteric appeal of such names would be worth the beatings.

Wow, Jay! These are beautiful! Thanks for sharing them with us.
Great theme you have going - what a beautiful name!
I will pray for a healthy pregnancy and safe delivery.
God bless you and your family.

Thanks Jean!
Beautiful pic. Though kinda surprised her name isn't Adriana...
Congratulations again to you and your family.
I think Sarah would have taken the same attitude toward "Adriana" as she did toward "Hrothgar Beowulf".
Absolutely beautiful! You must be very proud.
Maybe you should reserve "Hrothgar" for a middle name. (Not that I'd do that, myself, but if you're partial to that sort of name...)

I suppose "Beowulf Hrothgar" would be okay. Not that Sarah would agree.
