Housekeeping Matters
Summer and Fall are my busiest seasons at work, and I've been particularly swamped this year. That means there are a few items that I have, unfortunately, had to let slide here at Pro Ecclesia. Now that I have completed my final big project for the year, I will have an opportunity to get caught up on those items.
First, a couple of weeks ago, Jean at Catholic Fire tagged me for the "Five Little Known Things". I'll be getting around to answering that sometime this week. Sorry it's taken so long, Jean.
Secondly, I have several review copies of books and a couple of DVDs that have been sent to me to review here on the blog.
Among the books I need to read and review are: Scott Hahn's new book on Opus Dei titled Ordinary Work, Extraordinary Grace, as well as a new paperback edition of Hahn's First Comes Love, which includes a new chapter; Meredith Gould's The Catholic Home; Katherine Valentine's The Haunted Rectory and The County Fair; and a book I received yesterday titled Let God's Light Shine Forth: The Spiritual Vision of Pope Benedict XVI, edited by Robert Moynihan.
Among the DVDs I need to review are "God or the Girl" (which I already reviewed when it came on TV, but I'm sure I'll be able to update that review after viewing some of the features on the DVD).
My goal is to get most if not all of this accomplished before Thanksgiving, and at the latest, before Advent begins.
