A Couple of Plugs for Catholic Religious Goods

There are a couple of sites to which I want to direct your attention before Advent and Christmas are upon us.

First, there is Baronius Press, which offers classic Catholic books in paperback and leather-bound hardback formats. From Bibles, missals, and books on liturgy, to classical writings on spirituality, writings by the saints, and 20th century Catholic writers, the Baronius Press offers something for every Catholic to enjoy and treasure. A list of current offerings can be viewed here, and a list of forthcoming titles can be viewed here. Please take the time to check out the excellent website for Baronius Press.

Secondly, I'd like to recommend that you check out the website for www.antiqueholycards.com, a sideline business of Thomas Craughwell, author of Saints Behaving Badly. Using antique holy cards from his own collection, Craughwell has started producing Christmas cards and blank note cards that are quite lovely. Why not go take a look for yourself?

I just checked out Baronius Press (I hadn't previously heard of them.) It looks good. They have some Robert Hugh Benson books as well as the 1962 Missal. The site also says that they're working on republishing the traditional english-latin breviary. Thanks for the link.

Indeed. And that pocket Douay-Rheims New Testament and psalms looks good for running around too.

And they also have Robert Hughes Benson's works and are working on the old Breviary. Sounds good.
