One Thing That Sorta Amazes Me ...

... are folks (let's call 'em "drive-by commenters") who comment (almost always negatively) in response to a post that is several months, if not over a year, old. I get these emails in my inbox, and have no idea what the person commenting is talking about.

Perhaps Blogger needs to add a feature that identifies what post is being commented upon when the email comes into your inbox. Because I haven't the time to go back and search through my archives for what got the commenter so hot and bothered.

Doesn't it say "posted to Pro Ecclesia" or something like that at the bottome with "Pro Ecclesia" being a hyperlink? That hyperlink should be to the post the comment is on. At least that's how it was for me when I was using Blogger comments.

Now with Haloscan, that's a whole 'nuther story. Since Blogger Beta broke their integration features, there's no way to tell where the comment is.

Oh, I didn't realize that. Thanks for this tip!

It's still funny that people will come by and rant on a post that is so old no one will ever read it.

I don't know about that, Jay. I only bookmarked you for daily reading last December. I'm sure there are quite a few older posts that I haven't read yet. :)

I get these, too, Jay. I usually reply to them anyway.
