Hooray, I'm NOT a Nerd!

(Hat tip: Jean at Catholic Fire)

I am nerdier than 24% of all people. Are you nerdier? Click here to find out!

But I still think this is one of the funniest videos I've seen in a long time.

I also caught the "hooray" and thought it quite funny that he said it in the same sentence as "I'm not a nerd".

Irony, folks. Irony.

Don't you remember the little geek on Schoolhouse Rock who shouted "Hooray, I'm for the other team!"?

"Hooray, I play for the other team"?!
I don't remember that one.

NOT "play" for the other team. I don't recall that one either.

This is the one I'm talking about:

The game was tied at seven all, (uh huh)
When Franklin found he had the ball.
He made a connection,
In the other direction,
And the crowd starting shouting out interjections:

>> (Aw! You threw the wrong way!)
>> (Darn! You just lost the game!)
>> (Hurray! I'm for the other team!)

Interjections >> (Aw!)
Show excitement, >> (Darn!)
Or emotion. >> (Hurray!)
They're generally set apart from a sentence
By an exclamation point,
Or by a comma when the feeling's not as strong.
