They're just struggling to legitimize what they've done. It's funny, as most of these women instinctively are not proud of what they've done. The magazine, and their Planned Parenthood backers, are trying to extinguish that last shred of conscience.

The fact that sites and groups like I'm not sorry even exist is to serve as a support group for those insecure about their decision. What they do is blanket the guilt and attempt to call it “empowerment”. Have you ever heard of an “I am not sorry… to have sold my car” group before?

I say, if they want to shoot their mouths off about how they can kill their own children with no qualms, more power to them. They prove our point about the moral bankruptcy of those who advocate abortion.

Umm, no. For one thing, the chances of any state passing a law punishing women who procure abortions in the near future are slim to none. For another, ex post facto laws are unconstitutional.

And by that I mean really unconstitution, as in explicitely forbidden in the text of the constitution, not in penumbras or emanations or the policy preferences of justices who don't know their place.
