Diocesan Blog Wars in the Diocese of Richmond (Cont.)

The other day, I blogged about the diocesan blog wars taking place in the Diocese of Richmond.

Today, Amy Welborn notes that "the Richmond Diocese point/counterpoint Catholic blogs make the papers":
The Diocese of Richmond is either led by a bureaucratic meanie or manipulated by has-been liberals, according to two new Catholic blogs that are heartily critiquing the diocese two years after the arrival of Bishop Francis X. DiLorenzo.

Both blogs, A Richmond Voice and Richmond Catholic, have anonymous sponsors, as often is the case with such online opinion chronicles. Neither site is officially connected with the diocese, which encompasses South Hampton Roads.

Both are fixated on the leadership transition that occurred when DiLorenzo succeeded Bishop Walter F. Sullivan, who retired in 2003 after a 29-year tenure.

My Comments:
The article quotes Amy Welborn and a couple of other bloggers/commenters. I must say that I am deeply saddened that The Virginia-Pilot didn't quote my "hippies" comment.
