"Something In My Heart ...
... wanted more than a job."
I find this vocations poster disturbingly creepy.
Seems there are good reasons for that. See Rich Leonardi's post at Ten Reasons, and the comments thereto, for the details.
Also, read this, this, this and this for some details about the person that the Diocese of Rochester's vocations office has decided to highlight as its "poster boy" for vocations.
Something in my throat ... tastes distinctly like vomit.
Here's something to wash away the bad flavor: the vocations website for the diocese in which I live, the Diocese of Toledo, Ohio.
UPDATE
Speaking of vocations in the Diocese of Toledo, allow me to introduce you to our 27 seminarians (24 of whom are pictureed). The tall gentleman on the back row (wearing a red tie), Eric Schild, is from Norwalk, and is a product of the Catholic school system that my children will be attending.

I was thinking the exact same thing before I scolled down to read your comment.
hmmm. a priest holding a naked baby. Do we need more of this crap?
Your links where more disturbing then the photo.
I just don't understand why Rome won't get involved. Have they given up on us US Catholics & left us to the ddemise of this idiotic pro homosexual priests?
I'm not for a second a fan of the guy or his beliefs, but I'm not sure exactly what it is that makes him look 'effeminate'. A large nose and beard aren't normally the things I'd associate with femininity.
I could agree there's something a little creepy looking about him. But effeminate?
