Howard Dean Threatens Religious Voters

From Howard Dean's breakfast interview with The Christian Science Monitor:
On religion and politics:

"The religious community has to decide whether they want to be tax exempt or involved in politics."
My Comments:
Keep talkin', Howard.

Why is it not surprising to hear a boderline socialist talk about taxing churches that encourage people to proclaim the Truth? Churches are untapped reservoirs of cash to fund bureaucratic social programs, only recently tapped by trial lawyers. I bet the lawyers tipped off their buddies at the DNC about the easy money.

Howard Dean doesn't have a clue. As usual. The ONLY thing that restrains the Churches from being involved in politics is the tax exemption that they get in return. Take that tax exemption away and there's ZERO incentive for the Church's to be uninvolved. Never mind the federal constitutional issues involved.

Want to see a battle royale? Have the federal government go up against the combined power of the Christian churches. I'd like to say that would be funny, but it really wouldn't. But what is funny is that Howard Dean and the Democrats would come out losers big time.
