Abdul Rahman Case Puts U.S. "Theocracy" Nonsense into Perspective

The Abdul Rahman case sort of puts into perspective the nonsense spouted by the left and their mouthpieces like NPR's Kevin Phillips and the New York Slimes that the United States is on the verge of becoming a "theocracy".

When the left says that America is becoming a theocracy, they accomplish 2 things:
(1) They reveal their goal of marginalizing people of faith and shutting them out of the political process; and

(2) They do a disservice to the victims (like Abdul Rahman) of real theocracies in the Islamic world.
Please take the time to read Joseph Bottum's debunking of the "American Theocracy" myth at the First Things blog On the Square.
