..., I'm embarassed to admit, is "American Idol". One of the unfortunate side effects to her Idol addiction is that I sometimes have to watch it. I hate that show.

I don't watch TV. What's so great about him...well, besides the fact he's from Alabama.

I must confess I'm rooting for him, too -- he's got a great voice and really stands out. So many of the contestants on 'American Idol' seem to me like clones of Britney Spears or the pop idol of the week. It's guys like Taylor that make the show worth checking out sometimes. =)
I agree, Christopher. He's goofy in an "Aw, shucks" sort of way that makes you want to root for him.

I would probably get along well with your wife! I haven't been addicted to anything on TV since the 1st season of "The Mole" back in '00 . . . How trite! My husband and I too are rooting for Mr. Hicks! Great blog!
